Since 2008, it has been a tradition for employees of New River Electrical to participate in the Roanoke Regional Heart Walk each October to support the American Heart Association. 2019 was no different.
On October 12, a team of _ participants from NRE joined individuals and companies across the region at River’s Edge Park in South Roanoke to walk for healthier living and freedom from cardiovascular disease. Led by Karen Switzer, Executive Administrative Assistant, the NRE team exceeded their fundraising goal of $10,000 and were able to donate $11,439. As the kind of people who love to meet and exceed expectations, we won’t stop collecting donations at $10,000! As always, we loved celebrate fundraising success with other local companies and individuals.
