NRE Crews Return From Florida

New River Electrical Corp played a vital role in the power restoration efforts following Hurricane Irma.  NRE deployed 32 distribution line crews to assist Florida Power and Light, who was confronted with a daunting restoration effort after losing service to over 4 million customers.

In total, NRE employees worked over 30,000 man-hours while restoring power.  While coping with the hostile Florida heat and working rigorous 16-hour days, NRE line crews worked safely and returned home injury free on September 25th.

We want to commend our line crews for responding to such a massive restoration effort.  Most importantly, their commitment to traveling and working safely ensured them a return home to their family and loved ones.
