New River Electrical Announces Promotions in Line with Growth
Key Positions Filled with Experienced, Dynamic Personnel
CLOVERDALE, VIRGINIA – On March 14, 2024, the New River Electrical Board of Directors announced the following promotions:
Melanie Fitzgerald is promoted to Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Treasurer. In her brief tenure at New River Electrical, Melanie exhibited strong financial integrity, a strong work ethic, and an impressive ability to engage with her team and peers. Fitzgerald was also appointed to the Board of Directors to coincide with her promotion.
Josh McWilliams has been promoted to Vice President – Overhead Line. As an employee of New River Electrical for over 19 years, Josh successfully worked his way up the ranks, from completing his ALBAT apprenticeship at New River to being promoted to foreman and from foremen up to his most recent position as Regional Manager. His commitment to personal and professional growth is evident and continues to pay dividends to himself and New River Electrical.
Jonathan Ginter has been promoted to Vice President – Substation. Jonathan’s project management knowledge and expertise in substation design & constructability, as well as his strong strategic thinking mindset, brings a wealth of resources to New River Electrical. His collaborative and professional approach will be true assets as New River grows.
These promotions and appointments align with the Board’s strategic plan and vision, focusing on growth and expansion. The professional traits exhibited by these three leaders will continue to drive the company onward and upward.
