In Search of the Next Generation

With the school year winding down, high school students begin the search for career opportunities.  During Career Development Day at New Lexington High School students and future graduates had the opportunity to learn about their options for a post graduation career.  Representatives from 20 industries and companies were invited to share with the students the possibilities of a future.  Ryan Marshall, Vice President-Substation and members of IBEW Local 71 were in attendance at the New River Electrical booth where they explained what a career as a high voltage electrician and specialty construction contractor means, what the IBEW apprenticeship program is and how one can advance within the IBEW.

Good luck to all the New Lexington Panthers in whatever path you choose.
