070615-783-new-river-electrical-editNew River Electrical Corporation’s vision began well before the company was established in 1953. Sherrill W. Stockton, the firm’s founder, who was a chief electrician in the Navy, envisioned the opportunity for other reputable outside contractors for the major utilities. Mr. Stockton possessed the experience and moral character that were instrumental in developing the core direction of the company.

From the first contract with Ohio Power Company to build a small distribution substation, New River Electrical has grown into a diversified and progressive company of over 1,100 employees and is registered to conduct business in 38 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

The firm takes pride in its ability to meet the challenges presented by the ever-increasing technological advances associated with the complex systems required by our customers. With its management team and highly trained, competent field supervisors, directing the skilled worker on site, New River Electrical will meet these challenges.

New River has established the reputation of providing good supervision, excellent workmen, on time and well-built projects at a reasonable cost. It is the philosophy of New River Electrical to rank professionalism and customer satisfaction as its number one priority and this has resulted in more than 90 percent of the annual business coming from repeat customers.
