PEPCO Holdings, Inc. awards contract to New River.

New River Electrical Corporation was recently awarded a contract by PEPCO Holdings, Inc. New River will be removing 3 bays of existing 230 KV Gas insulated substation equipment in Washington D.C. and will install 3 bays of new 230 KV Gas insulated substation equipment to replace the existing. Phase 1 of this project started after Thanksgiving and should be completed around the end of April 2008. Bays 1 & 2 make up phase 1. Phase 2 of this project is projected to start in January 2009 and should finish sometime in March of 2009.
